Training for National Contact Points (NCPs) in Belarus: Horizon 2020 – Partner Search Tools

On 10 June 2016 a training for Horizon 2020 National Contact Points (NCPs) took place in Minsk. The event focused on partner search with the help of most widely used electronic tools for this purpose - CORDIS, EEN and Idealist. The training was organised by the 'Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support for Scientific and Technical Sphere' (BelISA) and the Business Cooperation Centre of the Enterprise Europe Network  (EEN Belarus) and supported by the EU funded IncoNet EaP project.

The training for Belarus H2020 NCPs was part of the awareness raising campaign on Belarus national network of H2020 NCPs structure, efficiency and services organised in March – July 2016 within the IncoNet EaP project.

Participants:

  • Officially nominated NCPs, their assistants and candidates for NCP position with a focus on newcomers
  • Limited number of young researchers interested in cooperation with EU (depending on availability of seats)

Goals:

  • To improve the quality of the Belarusian NCPs’ services related to partner search
  • To present the variety of partner search e-tools supported by the EC (CORDIS, EURAXESS, Idealist and other thematic PS services, as well as EEN)
  • To train NCPs how to practically work with the most popular of them, including EEN, Idealist and CORDIS
  • To stimulate sharing of experience on using PS tools between more and less experienced NCPs.
    Expected outcomes: Improved skills of NCPs in developing an effective and attractive profile and practical using of the most popular PS tools.
